HI I’M ERIN
I began my Yoga Teacher Training in the fall of 2019 with CorePower Yoga, after years of running and weight training. What started as rehab after a running injury, quickly became a passion as I fell in love with both the physicality and the grounded, spiritual flow of yoga. I bring years of fitness experience to my teaching—especially around proper form, strength, and functional movement.
Since my initial training, I have studied extensively with Jason Crandell, completing my RYT-500 in 2024. I’m also certified in the Yogi Flight School Method, a clear, alignment-based approach to arm balances and inversions rooted in mechanics, alignment, and smart preparation. This Method makes arm balances and inversions accessible to beginning and advanced yoga students alike.
My classes and teaching are strength centered. I help students build strength in both body and mind as well as confidence within themselves and their potential. I firmly believe that anything is possible when approached with consistency, intention and patience. My love of arm balances and inversions stems from the challenge they represent physically, mentally and emotionally. Often it is fear or the stories we tell ourselves that hold us back rather than a true physical impediment. I love helping students break through these road blocks and realize their true potential.
Each time I step onto my mat, I receive something new: strength, flexibility, a more centered mind, or simply a few quiet moments to breathe. Yoga, to me, isn’t about bending into the most sophisticated shapes. It’s about building physical strength and mobility while deepening your relationship with yourself—and from there, the world around you. The mat is a microcosm of life: moments of balance, moments of struggle, moments of play—each one teaching you how to move through the world with more clarity and intention.
